Crochet is the process of creating fabric from yarn or thread using a crochet hook. Similar to knitting, crochet consists of pulling loops of yarn through other loops. For crocheting you will also need some type of material that will be crocheted. That material is most commonly yarn or thread.

• a Pompon circle, which is used to make pompons
• a Tape measure, used for measuring crocheted work
• Plastic rings, which are used for special projects
