Video games are a wonderful way to escape the pressures of everyday life and enter a world completely different than our own. Infact they are much like reading, only they bring the live action visual aspect that we don't noramly get while reading. They are more, in a way, interactive movies. Many of the characters we see and play as have gained a special place in many hearts around the world, characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Yoshi. Infact they were some of the first characters to hit our television screens with Nintendo. We've also been brought characters like Link, Zelda, DonkyKong, Samus, PacMan, and many, many more. All of which you can see in different video games available in many store and online.

What use are our video game systems without the games themselves? Not much use at all infact. Without the games to play, video game consols are just bigs pieces of plastic and metal with wires that blug into our tv's and display nothing but a blue, black, or snowy screen. That is until we insert a game and hit the power button!
